Courthouse Elopment


A courthouse elopement in Laguna Hills, California can be a simple, affordable, and intimate way to exchange vows or a beautiful way to "tie the knot" with the person you love. Blending Spanish Colonial Revival architecture with lush courtyards, your photography will turn into a stunning photography journal. Courthouse elopements are usually small and intimate, with just the couple and a few close friends or family members in attendance. However, the Laguna Civic Center does allow up to 20 guests to attend your ceremony. If you invite guests, it's a good idea to let them know in advance so they can plan accordingly. Brenda & Josh decision to have their wedding at this modern Spanish-inspired architecture would be the most important in the lives. They had around 20 guests who were witnesses of this important event. Our session was a two-hour, fun-filled, and relaxed experience. We completed all the must-have portraits in and around the Civic Center.

Arriving to the courthouse


 Arrive 30–45 minutes early. Capture the candid moments of filling out the marriage license and the nervous excitement before the ceremony

The Ceremony


The indoor Council Chambers or outdoor ceremony space are perfect for capturing emotional close-ups and the ring exchange. Breanda & Josh were so easy to photograph. They almost never look at me or the camera. There were so naturals, truly to themselves during their session. I love when a couple trust in you to document their most precious moment.

Family Formals


After the ceremony, which last 5 to 10 minutes. Bride Groom gathered their closest family and friends in the courtyard for classic, beautifully lit group portraits. Their wedding was on a gloomy day about 4pm. It was a weekday; thus it was not crowed and there was plenty of time and space to document their beautiful elopement.
